- How batch and serial numbers are generated
- Where a QR code can go on the label or nameplate
2. Technical parameters
- Chemistry
- Nominal voltage, rated capacity, rated energy
- Weight and dimensions
- The authoritative source for each value (usually the specification)
3. Materials
- Cathode, anode, electrolyte and housing materials
- Critical raw materials
- Hazardous substance information and the matching safety data sheet
- Information that needs supplier evidence
4. Documents
- Specification
- Safety data sheet
- Dismantling and safety instructions
- Collection and recycling instructions
- The current revision of each document
5. Sources and ownership
- Which system or file holds each item today
- The internal owner
- Which supplier needs to provide more
- Who submits updates when information changes
